Nick Purdie

When not on stage, Nick devotes his time to many other aspects of the performing arts and creative industry.

He works extensively as tour/company manager for Lunchbox Theatrical Productions (UK), working on international touring productions of Beyond The Barricade, Jeeves and Wooster, Shaolin Warriors, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and The Play That Goes Wrong.

Most recently his work with Lunchbox has seen him event and company managing Cinderella on Ice at Hyde Park (UK) London Winter Wonderland and Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre in York (UK).
Earlier this year, Nick company managed the Australian touring production of 1984 as part of the Auckland International Arts Festival for GWB Entertainment.

He co-produced the successful Wellington based Broadway Studio, a monthly musical theatre showcase which celebrated 5 out of 5 sold out shows throughout 2016/17 as well as the NZ stage premiere of The Breakfast Club.

Nick is also a freelance publicist having worked on a number of engagements for Circa Theatre which has included the world premiere of Roger Halls’ Last Legs, which celebrated a 94% premiere run and a return season.

In 2015, Nick founded and heads the successful musical theatre workshop company Triple Threat Academy NZ, which has celebrated over 10 workshops around NZ.
