Ben Freeth

Ben is an alumnus of the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art, graduating in 2013. Over the past five years he has been developing a solid portfolio in Christchurch and within the national arena. As an actor, Ben has played supporting roles in numerous productions at The Court Theatre including: The Mikado, Mrs McGinty and the Bizarre Plant, Romeo and Juliet, Cops and Robbers, Mary Poppins, Legally Blonde, Ugly Duckling, Chicago and Titus Andronicus.

In 2014, Ben became a founding member of Kindle Theatre Company where he produced and directed their premiere production of The Last Five Years, performed at The Court Theatre.


Ben has also worked closely with touring companies around New Zealand including New Zealand Playhouse, Perform Tours, Theatre in Education (NASDA) and Crash Bash (Christchurch City Council) in roles both onstage and as a director and manager.
